The CarboClear® Hybrid Pedicle Screw shank is made of carbon fibers, with an ultra-thin titanium shell which allows the screw to be visualized under X-ray and enhances bone integration.
The Tulip and the Set Screw are made of Titanium alloy, presenting one of the smallest tulips on the market, as well as a greater variable angle of the Screw.
Carbon Fiber implants propose unique advantages to the Degen as well as Oncological patients and their physicians. These include MRI & CT images with substantially less artifacts to allow better patient follow up.
For Tumor patients Carbon Fiber implants enable enhanced radiation therapy planning abilities, allowing radiation treatment to optimize the radiation dose to the tumor with minimal collateral tissue damage.
