The CarboClear Pedicle Screws are made of continuous Carbon Fibers & PEEK.
The continuous carbon fibers are layered in a unidirectional, longitudinal orientation, as well as in helical / diagonal orientation, to allow maximal strength & unparalleled fatigue resistance.
This is essential, for example, in oncological cases, where no or delayed fusion is expected, and the fixation construct is exposed to continual bending & rotational forces.
